Inspiring Future Interpreters
AMI awards annual scholarships to students in Missouri colleges and universities or permanent Missouri residents attending colleges or universities in other states or abroad. Applicants must be studying in a field that leads to a career in interpretation. Scholarship recipients also received one year of AMI membership and a free registration and lodging to attend the annual AMI conference. There are two types of scholarships available – one for undergraduate students and one for graduate students.

Complete the form below to apply for an AMI scholarship before July 15th for the following school year and AMI annual conference held in September.
You can also download a scholarship application by clicking the download button above. Mail the completed application and all accompanying documents to the AMI Scholarship Committee Chair no later than July 15th.

Programming Grants
AMI also supports currently practicing interpreters through the Lou Clairmont Interpretation Grant. Small monetary awards are given to support innovative interpretive projects and programs.
