The AMI Conference hotel, Camden on The Lake, is full. We have overflow rooms available at Lodge of the Four Seasons. You will receive a link in your conference registration email to book room at LOFS until August 30.

NOTICE: PRE-CONFERENCE EVENT CANCELLED
Unfortunately, we were not able to meet the requirements for a private tour at the Missouri State Penitentiary. Some members are planning to get individual tickets for the public afternoon history tours on Saturday, Sept 12. Contact Sarah at sarah.s.jones@dnr.mo.gov if you want to join this group.
For members arriving on Saturday, the AMI conference committee will host a social event at the hotel as a replacement. This will be an early evening event. More details will be coming soon!

Each year, the AMI Conference aims to bring together natural and cultural interpreters from across the state to share and rekindle our curiosity, skills, and passion for our industry.
The AMI Conference Planning Committee is seeking presenters to share their insights and experiences. We are especially interested in interactive, skill-building sessions. As a thank you, we are offering a 20% discount on conference registration for all selected presenters who submit their proposal by July 31, 2026.
We are also excited to offer an information fair featuring posters and share tables! This will be a one-day session but posters may remain displayed for the duration of the conference.
To have your presentation and/or poster considered, be sure to submit your proposal(s) by July 31, 2026. We welcome new presenters and topics, so please share this opportunity across your network!

If you are selected to present, you will be given a discount code to use at registration. If you have already registered for the conference when you are notified that you have been selected to present, contact Sarah S. Jones (sarah.s.jones@dnr.mo.gov) for a partial refund.
Donate Items to the 2026 AMI Scholarship Fund Auction!
The annual AMI scholarship fund auction will be held during the conference on Monday evening. So, clean out those closets and get those last minute craft projects finished to benefit the next generation of interpreters!
